Other specialty brands include: Bruinsma (est. 1934), California (est. 1972), Choong Ang (est. 1946), Genecorp (est. 1982), DiVine Ripe/LSL (est. 1989), Horticeres (est. 1945), Hungnong (est. 1936), and Seneca (est. 1923).

Seminis offers growers more than 4,000 distinct seed varieties representing nearly 60 species, including: beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, leek, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, eggplant, lettuce, melon, onion, pea, pepper, pumpkin, radish, spinach, squash, sweet corn, tomato and watermelon.

Seminis owns or has pending more than 160 patents, and has protected more than 400 varieties under Plant Variety Protection laws.

Research
Seminis operates 49 research and product development stations in 17 countries. This global scope allows us to adapt our products to any microclimate and meet the preferences of local consumers.
