Two recent additions have been made to the wide variety of vegetable crops appearing on our website. These are daikon and okra. The former is represented by the hybrid Late Spring Star, and the latter by the variety Clemson Spineless.

The sweet corn varieties subsection has been supplemented with a new supersweet hybrid - Madonna. There are two newcomers in the Kohlrabi subsection: White Ball and Ufo - new hybrids from the Korean company Hungnong. Another piece of news is that the kohlrabi hybrid RS 6001 has been given a new name, viz. Purple Heart.

The tomato collection has been supplemented with pictures and descriptions of determinate tomato hybrids for processing - Perfectpeel and Yaqui, and a determinate tomato hybrid for fresh market - Sadiq. Added to the carrot subsection have been pictures and descriptions of the varieties Royal Kuroda and Royal Nutri-Red. The beet subsection has had a new addition - Golden Surprise, a variety with golden yellow flesh.

The assortment of parthenocarpic pickling cucumbers has been enlarged: a very early maturing hybrid, Mila, has been added to it. Early cabbage varieties have been supplemented with an extremely early Royal Sluis hybrid Orion-The Hunter, and the mid-late hybrid for long-term storage, previously known as RS 3138, has been given a new name - Arrivist.
