April 1, 2003 Two recent additions have been made to the wide variety of vegetable crops appearing on our website. These are daikon and okra. The former is represented by the hybrid Late Spring Star, and the latter by the variety Clemson Spineless. The sweet corn varieties subsection has been supplemented with a new supersweet hybrid - Madonna. There are two newcomers in the Kohlrabi subsection: White Ball and Ufo - new hybrids from the Korean company Hungnong. Another piece of news is that the kohlrabi hybrid RS 6001 has been given a new name, viz. Purple Heart. |
