Champ F₁  

A new early-maturing hybrid of white cabbage for the fresh market. Matures 52–57 days after transplanting. The plant habit is compact. Produces regular round-shaped heads of nice green color. The heads average 1–2 kg in weight, depending on the growing conditions and planting density. Very short internal core. Champ F1 features an extremely high head density, excellent field holding ability and splitting tolerance. The cut off heads can store for a fairly long period. A good shipper. Resistant to Fusarium yellows (Race 1). The recommended plant density is 40,000–60,000 plants per hectare. Suitable for extra early white cabbage production in plastic greenhouses and in the open field. Growing technology.
