Royal Kuroda A mid-season variety of the Kuroda type. Noted for unique, fresh, bright yellow color of its roots. The tapered, slightly blunt roots measuring 15 cm in length and 4 cm in diameter have crisp and very juicy flesh and excellent eating qualities. Suitable for fresh market and for use in cooking traditional meals (e.g., pilaf). Well suited for cultivation in various types of soil. Recommended sowing rate: 2,000,000-2,500,000 seed/ha.
