Claret

Claret
is a medium early variety. The plant habit is long - a plant height of
50-55 cm - and very erect for easy harvest. The leaves have a nice dark
green color, which is less subject to discoloration at full maturity than
in other comparable varieties. The stalks are smooth and long -
approximately 25 cm to the first node - with medium vanes and attractive
shiny color. Claret is tolerant to "black hearts", "watery
stalks" and Phoma. Compared to other selections, Claret has an
excellent field-holding ability and fairly good tolerance to bolting.
Suitable for both greenhouse and open-field production for summer and
autumn cropping. Recommended planting density: 220,000 plants/ha (30 x 15
cm).

Darklet F1

The
plant type is vigorous, compact and very erect with a small base and dark
green stalks and leaves. The leaf ribs are full, crisp and have a deep
bright green color. The stalks are smooth and tasty, with few or no vanes.
Darklet is resistant to "black hearts", "watery
stalks" and Phoma. It has an excellent field-holding ability, forms
no side shoots and shows a very good tolerance to premature flowering in
early sowing or glasshouse production. Recommended planting density: Open
field: 220,000 plants/ha (30 x 15 cm). Greenhouse: 160,000 plants/ha (30 x
20 cm). Positioning: Darklet is suitable for both open-field and
greenhouse production and is recommended for year-round cropping.
