Loret

Loret is a medium early variety with a high yield potential. The vigorous, uniform plants are not very long - with an average height of approximately 40-45 cm - and have few side shoots. The leaves have an attractive medium green color. The stalks are smooth, fleshy and relatively short - approximately 21 cm to the first node - and have a nice shiny pale green-white color. Compared to other selections, Loret has an excellent field-holding ability and strong bolting tolerance. Exceptional bolting tolerance of Loret allows it to be planted early. High plant population densities are desirable to promote a closed plant habit for individual plants, resulting in stalk blanching without earthing-up. Suitable for early production and processing. Recommended planting density: Open field: 220,000 plants/ha (30 x 15 cm). Greenhouse: 160,000 plants/ha (30 x 20 cm). Positioning: Loret is suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation and is recommended for year-round cropping. Growing technology.
