Babylon F1

A predominantly female Beit-Alpha type mini cucumber hybrid with smooth fruits and early maturity. Matures in approximately 57 days from direct sowing. The plant is vigorous. The fruits are cylindrical, with a slight taper at the blossom end. The fruit skin is very ribbed, dark green in color and with few white spines. The fruits are uniform, very crispy and have a good flavor. The average fruit size is 13-15 x 4 cm. Shows good tolerance to heat and produces a higher percentage of marketable fruits when grown on stakes. Resistant to cucumber mosaic virus (serogroup 1), downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis, US race, IR) and powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginea, IR). Is mainly used in open-field production but is also grown on stakes. Suitable for fresh market sales and for processing.

Prince F1

A mid-early predominantly female Beit-Alpha mini cucumber hybrid with smooth fruits. Maturity is relatively early. High total yield. The plant is vigorous and robust with medium large vines and a wide range of (intermediate) disease resistances. Produces fine quality fruits that are cylindrical in shape, thin-skinned, fine-spined (smooth) and shiny green in color. The fruits measure 13-15 cm in length, have a length/thickness ratio of 3.9-4.1 and are very uniform. An excellent performer, with an even higher percentage of marketable fruits produced when grown on stakes. Resistant to downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis, US race), powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginea, IR), papaya ringspot virus (highly tolerant; resistance not set), watermelon mosaic virus and zucchini yellow mosaic virus. For open-field cultivation mainly, but is also grown on stakes. Suitable for fresh market and processing.

Safaa F1

An early-maturing predominantly female Beit-Alpha mini cucumber hybrid with a high yield potential. The plant is vigorous and robust, with an open plant habit. The production goes on even under highly unfavorable growing conditions. The fruits are very uniform, straight and cylindrical, smooth and very attractive with medium dark green color. The average fruit length is approximately 16-18 cm and the length/thickness ratio is 4.0:1. Shows good tolerance to heat and gives heavy yields with a high percentage of marketable fruits. Resistant to downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis, serogroup 1, IR) and powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginea, IR). Although also very suitable for stake production, Safaa F1 is mainly used for cultivation in the open field or in tunnels. An excellent choice for fresh market and processing.

Samarkand F1

A predominantly female Beit-Alpha type mini cucumber hybrid. Maturity is relatively early. The plant is vigorous and robust. The excellent range of disease resistances makes this variety suitable for a wide range of growing conditions. The fruits are very uniform, cylindrical and smooth and have a medium green color and an average length of 15-18 cm. Shows good tolerance to heat. The relatively thin fruit skin typical of this segment allows a higher percentage of marketable fruits to be produced when growing this variety on stakes. Resistant to cucumber mosaic virus (serogroup 1), powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca fuliginea, IR), watermelon mosaic virus, zucchini yellow mosaic virus and papaya ringspot virus. Although also very suitable for stake production, Samarkand F1 is mainly used for open-field cultivation. An excellent choice for fresh market, but is also used for processing.
