Purple Heart (RS 6001) F₁  

A highly productive purple kohlrabi hybrid with a very early maturity. Matures approximately 45 - 48 days after transplanting. The vigorous plant has medium long and strong foliage. The flat round-shaped bulbs are very attractive. Good holding ability in the field. The internal quality is very nice, without fibers. Excellent eating qualities. The taste of purple kohlrabi in general is much better than that of white varieties. Suitable for winter - spring harvest in plastic tunnels and glass greenhouses, and for spring, summer and autumn open field production.
