Frillice

An oakleaf lettuce variety with very attractive light green color of leaves. The plant has an open, compact habit, well developed heart and thick leaves. Very early maturity and rapid leaf growth make this variety an excellent choice for early lettuce production. A long standing variety. Resistant to red lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri) injury, to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 1-24), as well as to Lettuce Mosaic Virus (LMV). Tolerant to bolting and necrosis. Suitable for open-field cultivation in spring and autumn culture and for autumn-winter cropping in protected culture. The recommended plant density is 80,000 plants/ha.
