A new variety of oakleaf lettuce with leaves of very nice bright red color. Excellent heart development (very well filled heart) and tightly closed base. Displays good field tolerance to red lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri) injury, to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races 1-25), as well as to Lettuce Mosaic Virus (LMV). Suitable for open-field cultivation and for the year-round cultivation in protected culture. The recommended plant density is 90,000–100,000 plants/ha.
