Samit F₁

A totally new Ananas-type melon hybrid with early maturity and a high yielding potential. Moderately vigorous plant with foliage providing good fruit cover. Produces oval-shaped fruit measuring 25 x 18 cm and averaging 2–3 kg in weight. The rind is creamy-orange with dense netting. The flesh is white, firm, very flavorful and exceptionally delicious. Samit F1 features very high fruit uniformity and good fruit set. Resistant to Fusarium wilt (races 0 and 2) and to Powdery mildew races 1 and 2 (R) and races 5 and 6 (IR). Suitable for open-field cultivation. Growing technology.
