Vares F₁ 

A new excellent onion hybrid for long storage. When sown in the open ground, forms bulbs within a single crop season. Vares F1 is a mid-season long-long day onion hybrid. Produces globe-shaped bulbs with very nice, bright yellowish brown color of skin. The bulb size is 4–7 cm. Features unparalleled scale retention, very high bulb firmness and extensive root system. Stores very well (almost until the new crop). Shows excellent performance when machine harvested. Suitable for the fresh market, processing and long storage.
