A new high-yielding indeterminate tomato hybrid with mid-early maturity. The plant is vigorous with a compact growth habit and short internodes. Excellent fruit-setting potential in a variety of growing conditions, including relatively cold early spring conditions. Superior growing capacity throughout the cropping period allowing 15–20 trusses with export-quality fruit to be produced per plant. The fruit are very firm, globe shaped, uniform green at industrial ripeness and intense red at full maturity. The average fruit weight is 150–180 g. Fruit pruning to 5–6 fruit per truss appears to be an optimum procedure. A wide range of resistances to important tomato diseases such as Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt (Races 1 and 2), Tomato Mosaic Virus (Strains 0-2), Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus, Fusarium crown and root rot, Cladosporium leaf and fruit mould (Races 1-5), tomato leaf silvering and Nematode. The extensive and strong root system makes using special rootstocks in grafting unnecessary and allows a second head to be started at the 3rd internode. Suitable for cultivation in glasshouses and plastic film greenhouses. Growing technology.
