Cooperstown F1

Cooperstown F1 is the most popular triploid watermelon in the seedless watermelon segment from Asgrow. Fruits are elongated and slightly oval in shape. The fruit size ranges from medium to large. The fruit set is standard for this type, averaging 1.8 fruits per plant. The rind of watermelons features mottled stripes on a green background. The flesh is dark red, crisp and very sweet. Cooperstown F1 is resistant to Anthracnose (Colletotrichum orbiculare, Race 1) and Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. niveum, Race 0). The major advantages of seedless watermelons are the convenience of eating, superior quality and the slower flesh deterioration of the seedless compared to the seeded watermelons. Growing technology.
