Yellow Doll F₁ 

Yellow Doll is a unique yellow-fleshed watermelon hybrid with extremely early maturity – approximately 68 days after transplanting. The vine is fairly vigorous, providing good sun protection. The fruit are round to slightly oval in shape, measuring 18x18 cm in size and averaging 2–3 kg in weight. The rind is smooth, thin and medium green with dark green stripes. To be sure, the biggest surprise is the yellow flesh, which is crisp, very sweet and tender and features small seeds. In addition to unique yellow color and extreme earliness, Yellow Doll produces more fruit than other watermelon varieties. Not good for long distance shipping due to the thin rind. Suitable for very early production – including production under plastic cover – of choice watermelons for supermarkets, as well as for local markets. Growing technology.
